SOLUTION · HR PLATFORM
Factorial HRIS.
At 40 employees, running an HR department on email and in a spreadsheet is annoying. At 150, it’s the reason nobody can tell you who’s owed holiday, whose contract renews next month, or why your best developer just handed in their notice. Factorial fixes that, and we implement it with Malta’s employment legislation already built in.

What it is
One platform, so HR stops living in your inbox.
The problem isn’t that your HR team is bad at their job.
It’s that performance reviews live in a shared document, leave requests come by email, and nobody has real visibility into who’s disengaged until they resign. Factorial gives you one place for the whole employee lifecycle, and gives management actual visibility into team sentiment and performance, not just a headcount number.
Four areas
Four areas. One platform.
01
Talent Management
Recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, training and goal tracking, in one place instead of four separate tools that don’t talk to each other.
02
Time Management
Clocking in, shift planning and leave requests, with Malta’s public holidays and leave entitlements already configured, not left for you to work out.
03
Finance and Expenses
Payroll, expense claims and approvals in the same system as everything else, instead of a separate spreadsheet that finance reconciles by hand every month.
04
IT Management
Device and software asset tracking (MDM and SaaS management), so IT knows what’s issued to whom without chasing a separate inventory.
Who it’s for
Built for companies with HR to manage, not just payroll to run.
If YOU ARE
You are:
- A 40 to 200-person company with a dedicated HR function, even if it’s one person.
- Currently running HR on spreadsheets, email threads, or a tool nobody fully trusts.
- In iGaming or any other fast-hiring sector, where retention and onboarding speed matter.
YOU’RE NOT
Probably not the right fit if…
- You’re under 20 people with no dedicated HR resource. The overhead of a full platform probably isn’t worth it just yet.
- You need only payroll processing with nothing else. There are simpler, cheaper tools for that alone.
How it works
From “could this work for us?” to live, in four steps.
Step 01
Discovery, on-site.
We sit with HR and management and map how leave, reviews and onboarding actually happen today, spreadsheets included.
Step 02
Configuration
We configure Factorial around Malta’s leave rules and your existing structure, not a generic template.
Step 03
Rollout
Staff get trained on the platform directly, with data migrated from whatever you’re moving off.
Step 04
Support
Local support for legislation and platform questions. Not a support ticket with a vendor’s helpdesk who has zero context or knowledge on Malta.
With MAP IT’s professionalism, we were able to hit the ground running. I dare say, if you’re a Maltese business seeking to implement SAP Business One, look no further than MAP IT.

Frequently asked
Questions we get in every first meeting.
Does Factorial handle Malta’s leave and public holiday rules?
Yes. That’s configured as part of implementation, and it’s the main reason clients use us rather than setting Factorial up themselves.
Can we start with just one module, like Time Management?
Yes. Most clients start with the area causing them the most pain and stress, and then add the rest once it’s bedded in and the team is well accustomed to working with it.
How is this different from going to Factorial directly?
You get a Maltese team who knows your leave rules, the country’s various public holidays, and our rather particular local context, not a generic international helpdesk that knows none of this.
